My son was referred to Professor Gatrad's team on my request as I was un-happy with the service provided at our local hospital. I was pleased that I was aware of who I was seeing and at the appointment it was Professor Gatrad himself, he spent time with us as a family explaining the procedures that he was going to carry out and why. Professor Gatrad also ensured that my son who is thirteen understood what was happening. I didn't feel rushed and was able to ask any questions, this was a distressing time for our family because our son wasn't himself and nobody could say why but leaving our first appointment we felt confident in Professor Gatrad that he was going to help us. Everything that has been discussed has been carried out and we feel we have been informed at all stages. We all has a family are very pleased with the service provided by Professor Gatrad and would recommend him to everybody.

My son was under Dr Gatrad and as a mom i am extremely happy with him. He comes across very genuine and does his best to listen to your concerns and explains things in detail. He doesn't rush your appointment and always makes sure you understand and feel at ease before you leave. Highly recommended.

I'm deaf mother of my daughter was ill and my daughter had heart problem. I'm pleased with interpreter and Dr. Gatrad. He alway very helpful to my daughter and kind person. He was good listen what l say to him. My daughter like him very much and alway cheerful to her.
He was best the doctor and good helpful other children. He was good support to us and fantastic doctor.
